The Saad Law team is rooted in the strong belief that we have a responsibility to give back to the local communities in which we work. A big part of this commitment involves the pro bono legal work we accept on a regular basis. We help both businesses and individuals who lack the means and the resources to obtain the legal expertise they require.
Making Meaningful Contributions
We view each pro bono file as an opportunity – an opportunity to make a noteworthy and significant contribution in another’s life. Saad Law uses its pro bono engagements as a way to preserve and enhance the wellbeing of communities, and to provide much needed assistance to disadvantaged individuals in our society.
Collaborating with Charities
Over the years, Saad Law has collaborated with numerous charities in need of legal assistance. More specifically, we help charities and non-profit organizations structure and form their entities from the very beginning. This often involves consultation and guidance in order to determine the most appropriate legal structure to achieve the desired goals.

Each lawyer at Saad Law is encouraged to participate in pro bono work and to include a wide range of pro bono files in their portfolios. Pro bono work enables us to practice more, to engage in ongoing professional development and to pursue areas of interest. As a result, we are truly enriched by each and every experience.
Representative Work
Recently, Saad Law lawyers were engaged on the following matters:
- Assisted with the immigration of refugees from Syria
- Advocated for human rights through direct involvement with the United Nations in Geneva
- Incorporated and assisted multiple not-for-profit organizations to become registered charities under the Income Tax Act in Canada
- Assisted charities and not for profits in the acquisition of commercial real estate
